We recently had an extension built at the back of our house. We were trying to keep costs as low as possible, so we opted out of installing skylights. Big mistake. Inside, the extension was dark all year round. As soon as we had the roof windows fitted, it’s been a joy to sit in the extension and watch TV. Best money I ever spent.
